Slide

Create compelling, data-driven presentations with Cast’s powerful slide system. When you edit a slide in the designer, four tabs appear at the top: Design, Narrations, Appearance, and AMA Context. Each tab configures a different aspect of the slide.

Slide editor tabs

Design

Configure the slide’s visual content and data—slide type, title, visibility, dataset, and chart or visualization settings. See Design for full details.

Narrations

Add and edit narrations that play when the slide is shown. Use text (AI-powered TTS) or upload audio. Personalize with Liquid, configure voice and conditions, and sync with visual highlights. See Narrations for full details.

Appearance

Override the slide’s visual appearance—background images, colors, inline images, and (for widget slides) widget-specific settings. See Appearance for full details.

AMA Context

Provide additional context for the Digital CSM (Ask Me Anything) on this slide. AMA automatically receives narrations and slide data; use this tab to add definitions, takeaways, or background. See AMA Context for full details.

See Slide Types for all visualization options—data-driven charts, editorials, navigation, video, widgets, and custom SVG.
